Cabin Descriptions

What are the differences between the two cabins?

Both cabins have basically the same floor plan. They are two bedroom/ two full bathrooms plus a loft with sleeping surfaces.

Sleeping Areas:

In both cabins, the downstairs bedroom has a full-size bed and the upstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed.
The Treehouse loft has a Queen-size Deluxe Aerobed, a twin sleeper sofa and twin roll-away.

The Bearclaw loft has a Queen Sleeper Sofa and a twin roll-away.

Both cabins have hot tubs, satellite TV, and X-Box gaming systems.

Treehouse has a slightly larger floor plan. The special features that are exclusive to Treehouse are an indoor jetted bath tub, wireless internet, and larger decks leading to the stream coming off the waterfall.

Bearclaw has widescreen TV’s, a nicer/bigger hot tub, more videos and DVD’s.

Are the fireplaces gas or log burning? Do you provide cut wood?

Our fireplaces are gas. However, both cabins have an outdoor fire ring. We do not provide cut fire wood, but there is plenty of fallen timber in the woods that you are welcome to gather.

Is the kitchen fully equipped?

Yes, our kitchens are fully equipped with everything you should need to cook any meal. We provide blenders, toasters, crock pots, soup pots, casserole dishes, etc. We like to have all the kitchen amenities there when we stay and we know you do too!

Do you provide towels and bed linens?

Yes, we do -- very nice towels and linens, we might add!

Are the grills propane or charcoal?

Our grills are propane and they have a side burner for cooking your baked beans!

Are the cabins “kid-friendly”?

We have really tried to provide a number of items in each cabin to entertain the “wee-ones”. For the teens, we provided an X-Box and movie selection. For the younger ones, we have children’s movies, games, books, and toys. Treehouse has Lincoln Logs and Bearclaw has Thomas the Tank Engine trains and tracks.
